WI: more decisive British victory in the war of 1812

What if the British achieved more decisive victory's then in OTL? would this allow them to get more of the concessions they pursued for the treaty of Ghent that they didn't?

In a more favorable scenario, America likely gives up Northern Maine, Michigan, Wisconsin, most of the Great Lakes?

They could, but that would require insane luck on the part of the british, pretty much any large battles would have to go in their favour.
as i understand it your including the entirety of the states of Michigan and Wisconsin along with the great lakes and northern Maine? I don't imagine the U.S would give that up lightly

On the contrary - avoiding such an outcome OTL required insane luck on the part of the US. We are talking about a minor regional power trying to take on the world's first superpower while said superpower was fully mobilised for something close to total war. It was only disinterest on the part of UK, coupled with more important things to worry about in Europe, that allowed the US to get away with its suicidal stupidity virtually scot-free.

At Ghent they were very near throwing in the towel after Washington and only put a stern line down after the twin failures of Plattsburgh and Baltimore.

If Britain holds the west and wins at Plattsburgh and Baltimore they'll get concessions and the Americans will be glad to do it.
