WI: More centralized Nazi state apparatus

Hitler was a proponent of multiple state committees squabbling and fighting for influence, owing to the concept of Social Darwinism. What would the effect be on the Nazi state, military, and especially the intelligence branch if he opted for a more centralized system, in order to keep a close watch over thinghs? Let's assume no other changes to his personality are made.

While this is true I think its a mischaracterization to conclude that the Nazi State was not centralized. It was very centralized, its just that there were various competing institutions and individuals with an unclear relationship and power within the bureaucracy was based on who you knew and your relationship with Hitler. IE in some areas Gaulieters were superior and other areas the Governors were superior.

A more "efficient" (not centralized) Nazi state would probably come about through a different means of coming to power. IE the Peoples' Courts only came about after the courts proved too independent for Hitler's tastes after they freed communists implicated in the Reichstag fire. Having the Nazis reach an absolute majority in the Reichstag, having far more support of the army, and never having the SA / SS / Army rivalries would be helpful.

Depending on why there are no dual institutions for various parts of governance you get different results. OTL the dual institutions rose through necessity, and simply repeating OTL without those institutions might actually make the Nazis weaker.

Would their intelligence services end up being better if resources were pooled into a few large organizations?
