The ancient Greeks settled all over the Mediterranean from Empuries in Spain and Marseille in France, to Magna Grecia and Sicily in Italy, and to Tanais and Trebizond along the Black Sea. However, Greek colonies in the Adriatic remained relatively sparse to the settlement of these other regions. The most noteworthy were:
-Issa(Vis) with its colonies Aspalathos(Split) and Tragurion(Trogir)
-Pharos(Hvar)
-Melaina Korkyra(Korcula)
-Olokenion(Ulcinj)
-Bouthoe (Budva)
-Adria
-Ancona
What if more Greeks had settled along the shores as they did in Magna Grecia or the Pontus? What would cause them to migrate there en masse? How would that affect ancient Greek history, and that of Rome after it?
