Ewww, I don't know if that's possible, it might generate news stories in itself. I think would need a fair deal of psychological help, just because both of them had problems with drugs doesn't mean they would be able to help each other out, and thats provided they are even interested in each other.

He gets into another "child molester" scandal eventually, given his past hijinks. It's surprising (in a way) how most of the pedo jokes died with him....then again he's dead so he's not 'relevant' to make pedophile jokes with jesus juice etc

This, pretty much. I remember in late 90s-early 00s he was considered to be such a joke you didn't have to tell a joke about him, saying "You know, MJ" was enough to get people smirking or laughing.

Then it was mostly obscurity for him.

I remember few jokes after he died ("Did you hear he will not be burried? California laws say everything containing more than 60% of plastic has to be recycled." Or "His ashes will be made into Legos so children will continue to play with him.") but mostly people who were making jokes about him in the past were full of "RIP MJ" and "what a talent he was" posts.

I'd say it was same with Amy Winehouse. She was a joke by last years of her life and results were similar "Oh, what a talent she was, too bad she's dead" by people who were making fun of her before.

As for Whitney, I think it's different. She simply faded from public attention and didn't fill gossip columns to same degree and same way as MJ or Amy. People were aware she was a junkie or simply forgot about her until they heard her song on the radio, then it was "Whitney? Damn, she hasn't had an album out in years. What's happening with her?"

If either of them would live it would be same as was last few years. MJ would be still butt of jokes and paedophilia scandal hanging over him, Amy would be still butt of jokes about being drunk, high and looking like hell and Whitney would be far from many people's thoughts.

The worst part is that her death meant that there was no Clarence Clemons tribute at the Grammy's to make way for a Whitney tribute, even though Clarence Clemons was FAR more important than Whitney
