WI: Mayflower arrived at Long Island

Well the mayflower sailed out after the establishment of New Amsterdam so they may end up turning coat and ending up a community with in the New Metherlands.

New Amsterdam gets moved over by New Plymouth to the Delaware River. New Hampshire is established on Massachusetts Bay.
And the Swedes?
Either they settle on Newfoundland or on Hudson's Bay. Either way, probably they turn a huge profit out of everybody's way and nobody bothers them and their settlements catch on. Sounds like a very interesting TL. Go for it!

The "colonists" likely die that first winter. They were lucky enough to arrive in just the right spot at just the right time, with just the right surviving natives around who had a use for them (trading, alliance). If they landed somewhere else they likely would've died.

This.

Or, having a better idea of where they are, they sail south to Jamestown as originally planned.
