WI: Margaret, Maid of Norway, survives?

This girl would have been the first queen regnant of the British Isles, but she died of seasickness before she could be crowned.

She was also possibly betrothed to OTL Edward II.

As the title says, what if Margaret survives to reign, marry, and have heirs? How would it affect the british isles?

Bumps this out of obscurity, since I might have planted this into this guy's head by convincing him to play CKII as Margaret Yngling.

I suspect three possibilities. As Margaret was not yet engaged to Edward, she arrives in Scotland and the Guardians, wary of placing the English yoke on Scotland, advise her against marrying him. She instead marries some youthful aristocrat from the continent and Scotland goes on as a peaceful, stable state (though the possibility of John Balliol rising up again is a formidable specter). The second: Margaret marries Edward and the crowns are personally unified under their son (or daughter!). The third: Margaret marries Edward and the kingdoms remain separate after their deaths due either to them remaining childless or due to political lobbying by the Guardians, ending with different heirs to England and Scotland. I'd elaborate but I'm on my phone and my typing thumb is starting to hurt. :p

Seriously?

You bump a year old thread that never even received a SINGLE reply?

Don't even remotely consider doing this again.
