Nord 1500 Griffon II.jpg

I do find the Griffon somewhat interesting with the ram jet and extraneous silliness deleted.

The Taon looks so close to Folland Gnat, but the intakes, although nicely sculpted, don't seem to have any aerodynamic basis. Lateral intakes do seem like a weak point, as with Espadon, in which I have no faith, for buffeting reasons as well.

The Vautour could have been expanded into a Yak 28-type vehicle, and found some uses.

Durandal could have been developed and refined, but I feel much the same with Gerfaut.

The Breguet 1120 does look like an F.1, on paper, but I hadn't heard of it being STOL. What devices or characteristics make it so?

I am an FD.2 fan and would have wished for a utilitarian example to be developed, other than it having to remain just a mirage.

Interesting. It looks, at least in profile view, like a cross between the Mirage III and the F-16.

Oh now that's just bad.

There was one Griffon without the ramjet and it wasn't very good.
