WI:Majapahit and Ming China sharing the island of Luzon

From what I read from a historian the chinese were interested in Luzon but not in the parts that are under the suzerainty of majapahit which were barren, the Northern Half of Luzon and the Eastern parts were held by Majapahit, however the Chinese led by Yongle had interests in Southern Luzon in the areas where Tagalogs originated as well as Sulu and not in the areas held by Majapahit..

What would be the effects if the Proto-Tagalogs and the Sulu Sultanate fell under Ming control under YongLe, how would that effect the history of the Philippines, would the Majapahit successor states vie for the control of the Chinese held parts of the Philippines once Majapahit starts to crumble.

This scenario reminds me of Korea when it was divided to many kingdoms before goguryeo...

I don't think you can get the Ming (or any Chinese dynasty for that matter) to be interested in overt control over anywhere outside China. Not even the Yongle emperor desired it (the fleets were really to reinforce and expand the tributary system). However, it's not impossible for states led by Chinese settlers to crop up. It has happened before, and the Chinese Filipinos and mestizos do have sizeable settlements and influence at the time. You can't go wrong with a Ming vassal state there.
