WI: Magnus IV the Great of Sweden?

What if during Magnus IV's reign as King of Sweden and Norway, he is not a weak king but the exact opposite, a Great King, he defeats his opposition internally and externally, secures a Personal Union with Norway to last the generations and expands into Ingria during his Crusade of Novgorod. How would this affect Europe and Sweden?

Fighting Novgorod risks bringing in Muscovy and Lithuania if they keep on continuing with the conflict. Although there still is the Black Death to take into account.
