WI - MacArthur injured at Inchon?

At the end of day 1, elated on the success of the Inchon landings, MacArthur demands to go ashore immediately (some say to recreate his stroll onto the beach in the Phillipines). However while disembarking onto his boat to go ashore, he loses his footing and falls to the deck hitting his head, knocking him unconscious. While not apparently life threatening, a concussion is suspected and he is evacuated to Tokyo. He is hospitalized there for a month, before being sent home for continued observation.

Who takes overall command in Korea? Will Mac's wishes be followed and Seoul liberated first, or will Seoul be bypassed in an attempt to trap the NK forces in the south?

Even if he recovers fully, does this give Truman (and others in the general staff) the excuse to bench MacArthur?

What about later responses to the China threat?
