WI Lord Kitchener Survives

Well.

What if Lord Kitchener doesn't die in 1916, how does this affect the war and the world?

I have a dim memory of a Kitchener survives timeline. Basically Kitchener survives and makes it to Russia where, using nothing more than his mighty moustache and manly glare, he single handedly turns around the Eastern Front, reforms Czarist Russia and saves the world from Communism. It may not have been the most hyper-realistic timeline ever produced.

Anyone else remember this and what it was actually called, assuming of course it existed?

Might he have become Prime Minister after Asquith's fall?
Not much chance. Aside from anything else he was not an elected Member of Parliament and as Devolved has pointed out, Kitchener's light was waning. His presence in the War Cabinet was entirely unorthodox an indication of the state of confusion verging on panic that the government faced when dealing with the crisis of 1914.
