WI longer Plish soviet war 1918

I was wondering if anyone knew a few links about British and French activity after WWI. It is my understanding that the French strongly supported the Poles and I am wondering if they had troops on Polish soil?

Whether its true or not, I was wondering that if France supported them enough, would they have sent maybe Foreign Legion or even some of the Czechoslovak Legion to support Poland rather than the White Russians? I assume with some added help that Poland could do serious damage to the Reds for a short time.

I ask because I am also interested in this time period. Its history and wars you never hear about.

During the Polish-Soviet War (1919-1921) there were no French units in Poland - the human commitment was limited to ~600 strong military mission to Poland, and before that between April and October 1919 a bit more than 1000 french officers in Blue Army (Polish army formed during WW1 in France).

Also, I don't think that France could send Czechoslovak Legion anywere were the members of the legion (Czechs and Slovaks) didn't want to. And they wanted to go home, not fight for Poland.

And if there were to be any French units sent to Poland, they'd be rather regular Army, not Foreign Legion.

When Haller's Army, a Polish exile army active in France, was sent to Poland there were some talk about occupying Danzig with French and British troops. It did not happen, but if it did it might've been the start of a more and more active France in Poland. Large formations are however unlikely due to the war weariness of France.
