WI: Longer lasting Mongol-China

The Mongol-Chinese Yuan dynasty was one of the shortest dynasties in Chinese history, lasting around a century. This compares poorly to the other period of foreign rule, the Qing dynasty which lasted nearly three centuries. Some say the Mongols failed to assimilate into the Chinese culture, but a century into Manchu rule, the Qing dynasty was in similar state.

What if the Mongol rule was longer and more successful? With the might of China at their disposal, would the Yuan try to conquer the other Khanates to the west? Would it be a more extroverted empire than the Qing dynasty?
