WI: Lincoln not assassinated in 1960?

Could have been Lincoln Alexander, iirc the first black lieutenant governor in canada, although he'd have been very young in 1960.

Edit. He would have been 38, so not so young, but he hadnt run for parliament yet, so it wouldnt have been politically motivated.

wouldn't have affected the United States much, but could potentially affect many events in Canada. And by assassination, does a serial killer going out on a mass rampage count?

Best bet would probably be Abraham Lincoln II surviving to adulthood while going into politics, having a son known as Abraham Lincoln III who also goes into politics, who at a relatively young age is assasinated (unfortunately not in Ford's Theatre, which would not reopen until 1968).

The intrepid time traveling assassin, John Wilkes Boothe, would've instantly realized his botched date of arrival and opened a wormhole back to Ford's Theatre in 1865.
