WI: Labour Party negotiates UK entry to EEC

If Labour were to have a majority after the 1970 general election one of the governments priorities was going to be to apply for EEC membership once again; how would the negotiations of differed from those that happened OTL under the Conservatives?

Would the Labour Party have tried to resist the Common Fisheries Policy more, having more of an interest in the UK fishing industry than the Conservatives?

Wasn't part of the reason the UK got in because the French personally liked Heath? I can't see Pompidou getting along with Wilson quite as well.

Heath certainly would have seemed more personally committed than Wilson ever could, which is probably the reason Roy Jenkins was planned to be moved from the Treasury to the Foreign Office following the 1970 GE.
