In 1901 while visiting Bremen, Kaiser Wilhelm II was shot at by an anarchist. He was hit, but not seriously wounded. What if the shot was lethal, though? How would world affairs play out differently if his 19 year old son, Wilhelm III, was crowned Kaiser Wilhelm III, especially with WW1 coming up just 13 years later (ironically, as long as Wilhelm II would be Kaiser for ITTL)?
The main issue I want addressed is Wilhelm II's hate for the British. Would Wilhelm III attempt to reconcile with the United Kingdom, or would he stick to his Austro-Hungarian (and Italian, technically) allies?
