Julius Drusus was the only son of Emperor Tiberius... Shortly before his death Augustus forced Tiberius to adopt Germanicus as his heir and remove Drusus from succesion line... However Germanicus died in 19 AD and Drusus entered the line of succesion again... Drusus had a long time feud with the Praetorian Praefect Sejanus (They had quite a few duels in the past and he had punched him in the face during a banquet) and in 23 AD Sejanus conspired with Drusus wife Livilla and poisoned him... (Sejanus asked Livilla in marriage shortly after Drusus's death but Tiberius denied this marriage...)
WI Drusus had survived this assassination attempt? He was a competent military leader and had adminstrative skills... How is his ascension as Emperor alters Roman History?
