WI Jordan not seperated from Palestine?

WI circumstances did not lead to the Hashemites coming to power in Jordan and the area being completely split from Palestine?
WI the original plan for a Jewish national homeland covering the entire area remained in place?

The first reaction might be one of "uber Israel! Israel wank!" however, thinking about it, the amount of Jews will be the same, the area for them to covr however will be larger as will the number of Arabs.
Things will take quite a different turn....

The "original plan" (the Balfour Declaration) was for a Jewish national home in Palestine. It did not specify that it should cover all of Palestine, and in any case there was no universally agreed upon definition of what Palestine was and the borders that were eventually agreed upon for the mandate were artificial and without precedent (and quite generous).

As to the question, even in the absence of the Hashemites, Britain would still have eventually concluded that the Arabs were of greater use as a regional ally than the Jews. If there is still a war over Palestine, the Arabs will benefit from the absence of King Abdullah but not from that of his Arab Legion.
