WI: John Lackland was further down the line in the succession

What if by the time Richard the Lionheart died in 1199, Richard the Lionheart is further down the line in the succession

Here are the heirs of Richard in this TL
Richard the Lionheart m. Berengaria of Navarre
-William of England, Duke of Aquitaine b. 1195
-Berengaria of England b. 1192

Geoffrey of Brittany m. Constance of Brittany
-Arthur, Duke of Brittany
-Eleanor of Brittany, Queen of Aragon b. 1184
-Matilda of Brittany, Duchess of Austria b. 1185

How would John Lackland react in this situation?

Richard's son would of become king. It is different usurping the throne from a nephew of a king then an unquestioned heir of a king's son. Would he have lived? Maybe, but john would of most likely been his "Lord Protector" so maybe not.

Richard dies in 1999?
Won't William and John be long dead?
If he lived that long its a pity that he couldn't have lasted long enough to see in the start of the third millenium.

It is supposed to be read as 1199 not 1999, I corrected my post.

I would hope so.
Philip Augustus is going to be a big problem, a five year old King is going to have a hard tim, fighting off the claims of the French Monarch, its not going to be difficult to see John being tempted to put his interests first.

Philippe Auguste might have Berengaria the Younger, Richard I's daughter married to Prince Louis..
