WI: John Lackland marries Eleanor of Brittany instead of Isabella of Angouleme

What if John Lackland marries Eleanor of Brittany instead of Isabella of Angouleme, what would be the consequences of the marriage, the iberian royal families are able to do Uncle-Niece marriages, what will happen to the Plantagenets in the long term.

You get a King that's mentally disabled.

Just a chance of that happening anyway.

You need a papal dispensation, right? Would John get one?

Over the dead body of Innocent III! The Pope excommunicate for the same reasons several times the Iberian kings (the one of Castile was excommunicate twice for marring first grade cousin).

Also, Philip Augustus will make everything to block it... I assume that this happens before Arthur vanish... Will Arthur allow it?

EXCOMMUNICATION TIME! Seriously, how the heck does a king actually forge a dispensation? The pope clearly knows he didn't make the dispensation.

It was made by Isabella and Ferdinand...a fake dispensation..perhaps we could have Innocent III not elected..
