This WI is a two parter. The first part is that John Elway backs down and decides to play for Owner Bob Irsay and the Baltimore Colts. The second part is that the Colts stay in Baltimore. The reason for this is that the Maryland Legislature approves the Baltodome (where the two stadiums are today). Let's say that in their new surrondings the Colts managed to beat the Raiders in the 1977 NFL playoffs and go on to win the Super Bowl that year. Bert Jones is the Super Bowl MVP. After that however, things go down hill like in OTL. So Elway is picked first in 1983, and along with Vernon Maxwell (in theory) forms the new core of the Colts. Are they any good in the '80s, our does it take until the '90s to get back to their former glory?

FYI I'm a Pats fan but grew up in Baltimore, so this issue is near and dear to my heart.
