WI JFK Jr.'s plane collides with American Airlines Flight 1484

In OTL, as JFK Jr. was headed to Martha's Vineyard, according to the NTSB report, he flew into the path of American Airlines Flight 1484, a Fokker 100 with 128 passengers and six crew members, which was inbound to Westchester County Airport. Only the ATC (air traffic control) radioing to Flight 1484 avoided a collision, since they tried to radio JFK, Jr. and couldn't reach him (1).

So, WI Flight 1484 doesn't avoid the collision and both planes collide--assume the worst-case scenario and everyone on both planes die?

Effects, anyone?

(1) ATC at the airport was alerted by the collision-avoidance systems there; the crash here is inspired by the tragic collision of Aeromexico Flight 498 and a private plane in Cerritos, California (in an odd coincidence, the controller who was in charge at LAX (the airport nearest Cerritos) at the time of the collision was named...wait for it...Walter White, the main character of Breaking Bad, which also had a midair collision as part of its plot) which killed all 67 people on both planes and 15 on the ground...
