WI: JFK assasinated in 1960, LBJ as 35th President

What if on December 11, 1960, Richard Paul Pavlick successfully crashes his dynamite-laden car into JFK's vehicle, killing both the Presdient-Elect and himself? LBJ assumes the Presidency in 1961... what happens from there? With Berlin? Cuba? Civil Rights? The Space Race? Vietnam and Laos? Who does Johnson pick as his VP? And what does the Kennedy family do in this scenario?

Berlin remains the same. Cuba- there will be no Mongoose, which was very much Bobby's pet project. Civil Rights goes faster with LBJ in the White House. Space Race- LBJ would not push as hard because JFK did not outline the moon goal. Kennedy family? RFK will run for either Governor of Massachusetts or Attorney General of New York in 1962. Assuming he stays in his native NY, he runs against Rocky in 1966. Given Rocky's OTL 50,000 vote margin against an Irish pol of the old school, Frank O'Connor, it is likely RFK wins the Governorship. In 1968 Humphrey wins the nomination, but loses to California Governor Richard Nixon in November. Bobby, sensing Nixon's invulnerability in 1972, wins a third term in 1974 and is elected in 1976, serving until 1984, when Texas Senator George H.W. Bush succeeds him. Ted runs for the Senate from Massachusetts in 1962 easily wins in the heavily Democratic state.

11 December is a week or so before the electors actually vote. Plainly LBJ becomes President. There was not 25th Amendment. Do Democrat electors choose some other VP or is the post vacant for 4 years.
