WI: Jerry Springer's Career in an RFK Administration and after.

I am aware that Springer was a campaign adviser to RFK before his assassination. Assuming that RFK survived that night in June, either the bullet didn't hit anything vital, missed at all, or Sirhan Sirhan got cold feet, what would Springer's career look like? I imagine he would have a much larger role in Democratic politics...possibly even serving as Senator from Ohio?

Would he be the Democratic Karl Rove? Would the latter then be a sleazy talkshow host?

How about Springer following George Stephanopoulos' career arc well before Stephanopolous does so?

Springer works as a campaign adviser, becomes a White House aide of some sort after RFK is elected, moves through a few WH positions during RFK's two terms, leaves before RFK's last term is up, signs on with a major network as a political analyst, moves on to host something like This Week/Meet the Press, and eventually ends up working on an early morning, happy news, Hollywood/celebrity shill, piece of shit like Today or GMA?

Eventually taking the high salaried low road like Stephanopoulos did from This Week to GMA would fit what we know about Springer's true character.
