WI: Japan Doesn't Surrender in August 1945, Instead Collapsing After Allied Blockade in 1946

The threat of this happening was oddly something the Japanese government worried about more than the Allies expected
I've heard those account too, as they could not lie anymore and revolutioanry care little any sacrosancty and would goes for all the estableshiment, specially commies and anarchist have little love to tokyo. Still is a realistic shot?

I believe the threat from Communists and anarchists was minimal. The biggest immediate social danger was the Allied invasion itself, followed by the depletion of food supplies in Chugoku in the mid spring of 1946. That was the point where "Patchwork famines" would start to take hold and an influx of refugees would flood into the Kanto region.
