WI James II dies right after his sons birth.

Would James II dying after his sons birth stop the glorious revolution, will it lead to longer Stuart Britain.

Hmm, there was a lot of tension already during his reign and as his son James was born in June, 1688, one does hae to wonder if it might make any difference.

There could well be a scramble for the regency, which could be interesting

I expect there would be several regencies over the course of his early years.
Of course he'd have to be brought up Protestant.

Hmmm, could be an earlier start of power devolving to the commons as the various members of the regency councils bring in support from there.
