WI:Jadwiga and Eric of Pomerania; Sophia of Moscow and Jogaila

I am creating a timeline concept about Eric of Pomerania marrying Jadwiga after Jadwiga was widowed by William of Habsburg after William of Habsburg dies without a Male heir, what would happen to Poland in a Poland-Kalmar union another is Jogaila also marries Sophia of Moscow, how would the two marriages affect the history of Central and Eastern Europe.

Sophia and Jogaila could be possible; Jogaila's mother was the Princess of Tver, after all. Or Svitrigaila marries a Muscovy princess, forming another potential Rus'-Lithuanian Union.

You surely changed a lot. First, Jadwiga married to William Habsburg is already a big POD. Why did the Poles agree to that marriage? When did it happen? What were its consequences? What about an alliance betweeen Poland and Lithuania, what about their war against the Teutonic Order? When exactly did William die? When should Jadwiga marry Eric (she was ca 8 years older)?
I'm affraid I can not make any reasonable guesses concerning TTL, since I do not know when exactly it takes place and what happened right after POD. Jadwiga married to William can butterfly a lot. Could you at least in general terms describe what happened after their marriage and how long it lasted?

Erik of Pommerania would still face the Engelbrekt rebellion, and I doubt the addition of more lands in Poland to control would increase his ability to keep the Kalmar Union together.

Here is the preview of my TL on Jadwiga and the description of the ITTL situation:
Jadwiga of Poland was finally married to William of Austria in August 5, 1386, she was very happy of the marriage because she married the prince that she loves and the one that is betrothed to her, she loved William with all her heart and soul and William became the King of Poland de jure uxoris Jadwiga and William’s union was very popular in Poland and Jadwiga was known in her own devotion to her own husband, William whom she spent 14 years until his own death.

Jadwiga of Poland gave birth to a daughter named Elisabeth in December 4, 1396, she was happy at that time although her happiness was cut short due to the death of William of Austria in 1400 due to a disease , King Eric of Pomerania, Denmark, Sweden and Norway talked to Jadwiga of Poland in 1406 about a possible alliance between Poland and the Kalmar union which ended in the marriage proposal of Eric of Pomerania to Jadwiga, Jadwiga accepted the marriage proposal between her and Eric of Pomerania, they were married in the Wawel Cathedral in Krakow in December 5, 1407, King Eric of Pomerania became the King of Denmark, Sweden,Norway and Poland and Duke of Pomerania.

Sorry to rain on your parade but:
- William was not very popular in Poland IOTL which was one of the reasons he never married Jadwiga; Jawiga herself was 13 in 1386, so her opinion did not count, although it is true that she wanted to marry William; but OK, let's say that Władysław Opolczyk managed to make this marriage happen (he was actually quite close to it).
- In 1406 the ruler of Scandinavia was de facto Margaret I, who chose the wife for Eric in 1406 - Philippa of England; Margaret would have needed some reason to change it, but a chance for Polish crown might be tempting enough.
- I have serious doubts about Eric being capable to keep 4 crowns at the same time - he was unable to keep 3 crowns IOTL (after Margaret's death), and that should have been easier for him; he was allegedly harsh, unpleasant man, who kept offending his subjects. But hey, Jadwiga was a strong personality too and she might be a good influence on her husband. Or not. I have my doubts

However, and alliance/union between Poland and Kalmar Union might have had some interesting consequences
- Poland most probably returns to Baltic Sea, at least indirectly; the dukes of Pomerania were Eric's relatives and becoming intermediaries for Polish trade would have been an attractive offer for them.
- Poland supports Eric against Holstein, which might help him win, which boosts his prestige and reduces costs of the conlict suffered by his Scandinavian subjects IOTL
- Scandinavia and Pomeranian duchies support Poland against the Teutonic Order (if the conflict starts again) - combined forces of Scandinavia, Pomerania, Masovia and Poland are, IMHO, even more powerful than Polish-Lithuanian alliance IOTL; another interesting thing is that the Order wouldn't be able to claim the Lithuanians are pagans, since they do not participate in war; of course you need to think about consequences of Jogaila NOT marrying Jadwiga for Lithuanian internal politics; anyway, if the war happens, I would put my money on Eric.
- Polish-Teutonic conflict might not happen at all, since Poland now has access to sea via Pomerania; however, the conflict was NOT about an access to the sea, but about land taken by the Order from Poland in early XIVth century and permanent cold war between both states; Danzig and opening Vistula as a trade road to the sea was simply a cherry on the top of an old feud; therefore, I think the war with the Order will happen.
