WI: Jacqueline of Hainault marries Rene of Anjou not Humphrey of Gloucester

What would be a consquence of a marriage between the two?

Jacqueline wanted an alliance against the Dukes of Burgundy like her contemporary the duchess of Lorraine.

René's a Hell of a lot younger than she is (a smaller age gap than between him and his OTL wife, but still). She was married to the duc de Brabant in 1418 and only separated from him in 1422, René's married to the duchess of Lorraine in 1420. So when exactly would they get together? You'd have to prevent her marrying Brabant - which she did for support against the dukes of Burgundy and the emperor - to start with IMO.

What about the Duke of Brabant marrying Isabella of Lorraine and it is Jacqueline who marries Rene.

She married Brabant because she wanted someone to support her against her uncle, Johan, the count of Holland; and her mom conspired with her other uncle, the duke of Burgundy to marry her to Brabant, who was the stepson of Holland's wife (or something). @pompejus or @Janprimus might know more.

Essentially Jacqueline needs someone who'll maintain/support her inheritance and claims.
That's why OTL she married a French Prince, Brabant, and then an English Prince.
