WI: Israel Never Was Created?

Exactly what it says on the tin. Try predicating the social and political consequences of Israel not being created in 1948 and the Jews who immigrated there in the OTL instead immigrating to places such as the UK, USA, Canada and other parts of Europe.

but unless the really outnumber the Muslim population things will just about remain the same with maybe some improvements to the rights and life of the jews thanks to the additional population

The United Nations might cut it's teeth on keeping the peace in Palestine as Jewish migrants integrate. We could have an independent and de facto Jewish Jerusalem by today, if pilgrims are treated equitably. The country itself would be everything west of the Jordan, which was not racked up for Jordanian occupation as happened OTL, but independence. Egypt and Jordan would still want to carve it up, and if there is no Jewish army fighting them, they'd get it all, the local Arab population couldn't have resisted them by force of arms. But a UN mission could prevent them from trying.

The USSR initially voted for the partition to leverage the Brits out of the middle east. The failure of British trained armies to destroy Israel lead to several pro Soviet military coups and the near elimination of the Hashemites. In the absence of such a humiliating defeat, the Egyptian monachy lives, no Nasserism. The Yemenite civil war is won by the pro saudi North ( ithink) . No nasser inspired Iraqi coup. No suez crisis thus NATO can collectively get behind Hungary in 1956. (Would this lead to world war 3?) Possible cold war rivalry between hashemites and saudis. Probably no Palestine unless it becomes the Hashemite kingdom of Palestine. The Soviets may try to help Mossadeigh in Iran stay in power to have some proxy in the region. This would create tension along a Persian/Arab divide rather than a Sunni/Shia one. Soviet naval bases in Iran, American naval bases inthe gulf states and a british base in Aden. highseas hijinks ensue. China decides it needs a blue water navy to ensure it's energy supply in such a volatile region. This may panic India into developing it's blue water navy. They may turn to the Soviets or the British for help. A stronger chinese navy may convince the US not to get involved in Vietnam. Since there are no arab/Israeli wars to showcase the quality of American weapon systems, the Soviet union may last longer. A longer lived USSR may mean larger Russian populations and possible majorities in the Baltics forever crushing hopes of a Baltic revival. No reunification of Germany. Without the fall of the warsaw pact, the EU remains a bureaucratic maze but we are less likely to see the creation of the euro or any of the other "end of history" hubric projects. Islamic fundamentalism still gets it's seed money from the Saudis and possibly ambitious hashemites. Ther presence of infidel navy bases may yet inspire an al Qaeda.

I'm pretty sure the ugly face of Islamism(like Sayyid Qutb, an Islamist hardliner killed by Nasser, a secular nationalist despot) and the terrorism associated with it would still almost certainly appear. There are still plenty of pro Western or pro Russian despots that are secular(by Middle Eastern Standards of course) that can easily lead to them boiling in anger. The fall of the Ottoman Empire, not the creation of Israel, is the root of most of the problems. Also, I imagine this Palestine would end up like Lebanon and Jerusalem might lead to being the Beirut of TTL(very unlike OTL). Arab attitudes towards Jews probably will be mostly unchanged, but without the expulsions. Even in OTL, Daesh, believe it or not, actually said their main target was Shia Muslims, not Israel.

How and why that would happen?
Us was popular due to lack of imperialism in the area and american missioners setting up educational institutions ,the pan Arabist movement also saw the US as a model and was anti communist and the US did back the 1952 Egyptian coup and Egypt during Suez canal crisis . absentee Israel there is no conflict of interest

why would it without the defeats of 1967 and 1973 disgracing Arab nationalism and secularism or the 1974 oil embargo .
