It seems that concerning current issues today that Israel is now giving up on the prospect of giving away much of the land they still occupy readily for greater international acceptance. What if this policy didn't start in 1975 and culminated by keep withdrawal after the 1979 Camp David Accords? There could be for one reason or another by Egypt reluctance to settle terms diplomatic or Israel's refusal to give up at least the eastern half of the Sinai desert which not only encapsulates Gaza but also includes natural gas wells off the Red Sea coast that Israel built after 1967 (which had to be given up in OTL)? There are also other resources besides established settlements some of which were hydroponically growing tomatoes among other produce in the area. Can a smaller and more widely developed state such as Israel have fully utilized this? Lest we not forget that despite having no oil in OTL Israel is still one of the few nations in the area with its own refining company.

How can you imagine such a state while retaining those borders function internally with more natural resources readily available as well as interact regionally and with the rest of the international community? I for one would think the relationship between Israel and apartheid South Africa would have lasted longer along with becoming more apparent along with other pariahs such as the RoC. One major stumbling block I can imagine would be to have Israeli shipping still blocked from crossing the Suez however do you think that would lead to establishing a large commercial port at Sharm el-Sheik or some other place along the southern tip, dredging up the area to create a kind of new Caesarea? They would of also have lengthen and expand the Israeli railroad immensely to carry more freight. Would this enable the state of Israel to work as a kind of smuggling interconnect for other international pariahs with the likes of Belarus? Another question would be such an altercation enable Egypt to remain the head and Cairo to be the HQ of the Arab League, your thoughts?
