WI Isabella II of Spain marries a Saxe-Coburg-Gotha

What if Isabella II marries any of the Saxe-Coburg-Gotha what will happen to Spain will it start a English-Spanish alliance will she still inherit the spanish throne?

well she doesn't have a gay husband, any ways at the point she married (1846) Prince Albert has been the Prince Consort for 6 years and given Victoria 5 of the 9 kids the couple had, Albert was his own man, I don't see him risk the Crown of the UK (something he very much believed it) also Victoria's time was the death of Royal power, Parliament is stepping up and taking the last bits of Royal Power (Albert was in fact for that and help shape the post-political Monarchy)

as for Saxe-Coburg-Gothas she could marry, Albert's Big Brother Ernest was Duke of Saxe-Coburg and Gotha and was married (also he couldn't father kids) there's Prince Leopold of Saxe-Coburg and Gotha, youngest son of Prince Ferdinand of Saxe-Coburg and Gotha (father of King Ferdinand II of Portugal) and owner of great facial hair, also super scary thought she could marry the 11 year old Prince Leopold of of Belgium, the man that became King Leopold II

She inherited at 3. So yes.

About the marriage, well, maybe a more Anglophile rather than Francophile policy and more attention to Morocco (if the connection makes Britain less likely to discuss it) rather than the Americas. A bit more of popularity is retained since Spanish troops are not used to prop French interests in Indochina and Mexico and maybe the whole Dominican fiasco is avoided altogether (unlikely).

Anyway, she's still a turncoat Conservative, a Catholic zealot and has a tendency to stick her hand in the government whenever it suits her. If her A-husband is handsome and not homosexual, well, maybe she will not gain such a bad fame since she won't seek outside what she can't find at home. But she won't be too popular either. The 1868 revolution might not happen, but I think she will be forced to resign and pass the throne to a son at some point (late 1870s?).

Well, at least it won't be in a way as chaotic as OTL.

This one looks like a decent match. The Genocide even says this was suggested IOTL, but France (no surprise) vetoed it.
