OK, I've noticed that the survival of Valois Burgundy gets occasionally discussed on here, but is it possible for either of the two previous incarnations of Burgundy to survive into the modern era? (Both occupied roughly the same spot on the map-the Rhone river valley in southeast France)
Does surviving Burgundy mean Occitan/Provencial remains a major European language?
