As we all know, Hurricane Katrina caused massive damage to southeastern Louisiana and the Mississippi coastline. It also broke the levees of New Orleans, despite the fact that the worst of the storm passed to the east of the city, and flooded much of the city, killing thousands and triggering a massive crisis.

The PoD is that Katrina takes a slight jog to the west before turning north, and hits the Lousiana coast, with its path going through Metaire, just to the west of New Orleans (so that New Orleans gets what the Mississippi coastline got OTL)

Effects, anyone?
