WI: Hungary keeps Burgenland

What if Hungary was able to keep Burgenland after the WW1? How this would be possible? And how would this affect Hungary's relations with Austria and Germany?

The territory's population was 291,800 in 1910, of which 74% (217,072) were German-speaking, 15% (43,633) Croatian-speaking and 9% (26,225) Hungarian-speaking. Hungary did have about half million Germans (6,9% of total population) in 1920 so that minority would be somewhat more important now.
