I was thinking what if the northern part of Luzon north of Pasig river becomes almost linguistically united due to the merger between the languages of Regions 2 and 3 which are quite similar due to population increase and the resulting language becomes the dominant language in the "Luzon Kingdom" let's call that Kingdom Selurong which later loses the lower part of Luzon to the Bruneians and later the Spanish and the Visayan Languages merge into a single language although not politically unified before the Spanish came but later subjects themselves to the Spanish.

What would happen to Spanish conquest of the Philippines, if Luzon is less conquerable than OTL and the Visayans could be united in a revolt and have a national identity would the Spanish set eyes on Mindanao?
