WI: Hitler the Painter

I heard somewhere that Hitler wanted to be a painter but was denied entry to the school. My question is, what if they let him in the school and he becomes a famous painter instead?

Issue was he was a bad painter. Hitler could not draw people, which the Vienna Art school wanted, they encouraged him to be an architect but Hitler felt rejected.

So what you need is either looser rules, or something about Hitler which makes his art stand out. I know of a form of color blindness, caused by brain damage, which forced color misinterpretation. So you see brown, but it is really pink, you see pink and it is really gray, and the next day it can all change.

So Hitler goes to war, is injured, and now has this rare condition. Seems out there, but within the realm of possibility. I wrote a story about it called the The Painter in the writer forum.

Then art trends are very different or he's a very different person in order to paint things that aren't exact reproductions of real life. In which case, it's questionable whether he would even be the same person who controls the Nazis due to radical personaility and ideology changes.
