WI: Hitler killed by rogue V-1 in 1944

On June 17th, 1944, Hitler visited a command bunker in western France, Wolfsschlucht 2, in order to meet with several high ranking officers regarding the situation on the Western Front. During his stay, a V-1 fired from a nearby launch site malfunctioned and changed course in midair, landing in the middle of the compound before detonating. Protected by twenty-two feet of earth and concrete, Hitler survived uninjured and hastily departed France.*

Well, that's what happened historically. But, let's say that Hitler decides to step out for a breath of fresh air, or something along those lines, and is killed by the "vengeance weapon". What would the knock on effects be, both abroad and especially inside Germany, where a bevy of conspirators were just weeks away from their unsuccessful attempt to assassinate the man?
