WI Heraclius dies in 627?

In 12 December 627 Roman armies under Emperor Heraclius clashed with Persian army under General Razates... The battle was close contested until dawn when Emperor Heraclius was challenged by Razates in single combat... Heraclius killed Razates and won the day(making himself the last Roman winning the "spolia" spolia=the arms of the enemy commander if he is killed by him in single combat)
WI Heraclius was killed in this duel? His firstborn son Constantine was 15 years old while Heraclonas was 1 year old... (2-3 other of his children were handicapped so ineligible for the throne...)
Could this means an early collapse of ERE and Persian invasion to Europe?

Hmm, the avars were defeated at this time by Heraclius? if this is not the case I see avars dominating Balkans and the persians extending his empire from the Indus to Cyrenaica and could be into Anatolia. (so yes it would be Turbo-Persia:D)

I'm thinking that the Byzantine Empire will lose Constantinople. They'll either fragment or relocate to Italy (not Carthage!). The Avars will keep the Persians out of Europe. The Byzantines will support the Avars, hoping for a buffer against the Persians.

I'd think if the Byzantines can hold together, they'll try to retake Egypt from the Persians. Fragmented or unified, Byzantine Greece will be in trouble from the Avars. Even if the Byzantines and Avars have good relations, the Avars will still raid.

Does it really matter in the end...The Arabs will still burst out of the deserts and trounce the Persians

Avars besieged Constantinople in 626 but they were defeated by Patriarch Sergius and Magister Officiorum Bonus who were in charge of defending Constantinople due to Heraclius absence in Persia... (following a huge storm which wiped away their fleet and it was considered as a miracle by the Virgin Mary)

Bull. The Persians were weakened by an extended losing war, plus sucession issues due to regicide, all of which was due to Heraclius kicking their butts. It was only those weaknesses that allowed the Arabs to begin their conquests. Facing a Persian Empire capable of responding to the threat, the Arab tribes will stick to raiding.

Even if the Persians fall, there are other effects worth considering. Mostly stemming from a changed Byzantine Empire. Do the Khazars last without Byzantine trade? If the Byzantines become stronger in Italy, how does that develop? Do the Byzantines take an interest in Spain? What about the Ecthesis? Does Heraclius not getting back the Holy Cross have an effect later in history?

What about civil unrest in Constantinople? If Heraclius died in 627 his son Constantine was only 15 years old and his other son Heracleonas was 1 year old... His other survivng sons were paralysed and deaf-mute (as a result from his incestuous marriage to his niece Martina)
The question is if Patriarch Sergius and Magister Officiorum Bonus are strong enough to hold the regency for the young Augusti or some General deposes them and gets the crown?
