After the Tudor dynasty came to the throne in 1485, much was made of their Lancastrian ancestry. It was during Henry VII's reign (probably at his mother's urging?) that Henry VI was proposed for sainthood. In addition to his pious life and unfortunate end, the last Lancastrian king was also credited with several miracles.

So, what if we had a St. Henry VI? When might be the earliest he could be canonized? Which pope would be most likely to do it? What might the repercussions be in England?
