John & Horace Dodge both got Spanish flu & both were dead by 1922. They were recognized as probably the sharpest engineers in Detroit at the time.

Henry, OTOH, was increasingly autocratic, & resisted any changes to the Model T.

So, it's safe to assume the Dodge car company would build very sophisticated, technologically advanced cars. Would they be driven out of business by competition from Ford & Buick? Would they be first with a mass-produced V8, like the flathead Ford? Even a mass-produced OHV V8, like the '49 Olds?

Would Edsel have introduced his improved Model T, which Henry (allegedly) personally smashed? Or would he have gone to something close to OTL's Model A? (It's safe to say the T's 15 million units built record would never have been reached. Based on numbers from here, it's probably between 5 million & 6.5 million.)

Does this also mean Walter Chrysler doesn't buy out Maxwell? Or introduce the Plymouth?
