What if Heath Ledger ahd assumed the role of Alexander The Great rather than Colin Farrell and Liam Neeson hadn't turned down the role of Philip?

Also add to this the fact Brad Pitt was due to sign on as Hephaestion but had doubts about the role.

Also perhaps a different actress to play Olympias, alexanders mother, someone older than the lead by years not months

The base problem of the Alexander movie was the director. So, I don't think it will change much...

I think the other movie they were planing to make (but cancelled due to the release of the one of Oliver Stone) could have been better. That Alexander was going to be Leonardo Di Caprio.
