One of the biggest criticisms of global inaction during the Rwandan Genocide was the failure to stop the broadcasts of RTLM and other hate radio stations, which amped up the killing frenzy and further dehumanized the Tutsi minority.
Is there any way that someone, the UN, the US Military, could have interfered and stopped the broadcasts, even without violent military intervention? Would this have made a difference in perhaps saving a significant amount of Tutsis?
