WI: Haile Selassie killed after Maychew

The Battle of Maychew was a major battle which consisted of a failed counterattack by the forces of Emperor Haile Selassie against Pietro Badoglio around March 31st, 1936. The battle almost assured Italian victory, and resulted in the destruction of Haile Selassie's army in the north. Badoglio would enter Addis Ababa just over a month afterward. After the battle, Haile Selassie attempted to retreat, but they were attacked by the Azebo Oromos and Italian aircraft arrived. What if Haile Selassie was killed there? Would the Ethiopian government collapse? How does this affect the East African campaign? How does this affect post-war Ethiopia?

Rastafarianism just died right there, that's for sure.
I pretty sure Haile's death would be a big hit to morale for the Ethiopians, though the opposite of total collapse might occur due to Ethiopians wanting to avenge the death of their Emperor.
And even if Ethiopia does fall, Haile will become a martyr for the Ethiopian people, a sort of God-blessed king similar to how King Arthur is seen today.
