WI: Gustav Adolphus the Great of Sweden leads Protestants to Victory in 30 Years War?

Portugal conquered an empire on three continents and had barely one million people. Of course, their empire cost them thousands of their best men.

Yes, but how many settler colonies did they establish?

The colonists don't have to be Swedish; I'm sure there will be Germans who want land in the Americas and would jump at the chance to immigrate to the Americas.

There weren't Germans pouring into the Americas in this era OTL, why would nominally Swedish colonies change that?

Uh, Brazil?

But was there anything else? That's my point - being able to establish an empire by armed force is one thing, seeding settler colonies needs surplus population.

Germany didn't have any colonies for them to pour into?
It doesn't have any in this timeline either. Just Swedish colonies that for some reason want German immigrants.
