WI: Greeks don't enter Anatolia in 1919?

I'm doing an online simulation of the world of 1919, and the Greek player decided he'd rather avoid sending troops into Anatolia (Smyrna and whatnot) and would instead prefer to devote Greek military efforts to Northern Epirus (aka southern Albania.)

What would be the effects of this on the Turkish National Movement? I recall Atatürk once saying something to the effect that the movement was sleeping until the Greeks landed. Also, what would the domestic ramifications be for Greece?

Going for just taking in consideration the historical scenario (and no game involved sheninghans); for now Turkey will have more or less the stability of OTL Italy in the sense of still the current goverment but there are forces that can create problem and disruption without having the real force to throw them out, as there is still no treaty of Sevres and the Greeks and Italian occupation have been happened...so there is still the idea/hope that something can be obtained at the diplomatic table and in general the population is not fully rallied against the goverment and in support to Ataturk (and they can see the current hostilities between the red and the entente as an occasion to obtain lenience/concession or to play both side against the other).

Historically the Megali Idea at the moment is strong/important as the italian irredenta for Greece and taking back again North Epirus will have the general support for the population and booster Veninzelos popularity, better remember that the Entente give is ok for the Greece occupation of Smyrne was as an answer to the italian occupation of Andalia as Athen was considered more pliabe to their interest than Rome (and Andalia occupation had not happened in game) and can become for the Greeks pubblic opinion an important argument like Fiume for Italy

With no Greece there is a chance to get rid of the Armenian State even faster. Less casualities, no Population exchange.

It could be all good. But Greece will hold Eastern Thrace as well. A war in the 20s is imminent.
