WI Greek Navy's Counter-Coup succeeds in 1973?

In May 1973 while Greece was under military dictatorship several monarchists Navy and Air force officers planned a counter-coup in order to get rid of the military Junta and restore the King and Democracy in Greece... Navy and Air force were not as corrupted as the Army and contained several monarchists and pro-democratic officers
The plan was then that when Dictator Papadopoulos and his government where aboard the Flag ship (There were naval drills that time and the Junta was invited to inspect) they would be captured... Then part Greek fleet would have sailed to island of Syros free the political prisoners and set up a rival government there while 2 other parts of the fleet would blockade Peiraus and Thessaloniki... After the coup was succesful the King would be invited back... However the plot was betrayed and failed...
WI the plan worked and military Junta collapsed then??? How is that altering History?Any thoughts?

Well then, could George Papandreou have been able to form a Venizelist government?

Also, did the Navy's counter-coup include the King? I know I've read somewhere that the King was involved in a counter-coup of some sort.

George Papandreou Sr. was dead by 1 November 1968... The King was implicated indirectly... He was informed about planning a counter-coup but wasnt part of it...

No push for Enosis, the Cyprus crisis would be avoided. Greece would probably be a constitutional monarchy. Cyprus would still be united. Greeks and Turks would not dislike eachother as much as IRL (but they wouldn't really like eachother either).

P.S. The King had attempted a counter-coup in 13 December 1967 but it was so badly planned and executed that failed even before it had began... After this failure King Constantine II left for Rome with his loyal Prime Minister and military Junta declared a Regency...
