That is crazy talk, we all know that Ben Gurion with his Hagganah along with the Irgun and Stern gang would just continue massacring Palestinians until the rest of the Arab League gets involved!
But I seriously doubt it would change Arab Nationalist policy since even though the 'awakening' of the Palestinian nationalist movement may have started with him it certainly wouldn't end. There are plenty of Arabs to choose from to represent the 'founders' of the Palestinian nationalist movement such as Izz ad-Din al-Qassam who Hamas has named a rocket after and Muhammad Nimr al-Hawari who seemed to be the closest thing Palestinians had to a Nelson Mandela like figure. Also both Arab royalists and Nasserists alike were more then ready to set up Palestine liberation movements in their name so their movement tended to be hijacked to promote 'greater' Arab nationalist ambitions even if it was not for their benefit.
