WI:Goths defeat Byzantines at Battle of Taginae

What if Totila succeeded in driving the Byzantines out of Italy?

Say Goths win a decisive victory at the Battle of Taginae and Narses is killed. Would the Byzantines comeback? If the Goths do drive out the Byzantines, would they be able to resist the Lombard invasions?

Also if there are any good TL on this topic let me know, thanks:D

Answer to the first question is: depends what's happening on the Iranian front. If that stays quiet, there'll be repeated Roman efforts in Italy. If it flares up, there won't be.

As for the Lombards: difficult to tell, but I suspect the Goths are unlikely to have much more success.
