WI: Golden horde is defeated in the battle of the Vorksla river.

So the battle of the Vorksla river was a somewhat influential in the history of Eastern Europe battle, where the forces of Lithuania, Poland, Moldavia, Wallachia and Teutonic Order led by Grand Duke Vytautas and Tatars led by Tokhtamysh fought against the army of the Golden Horde, led by Edigu and Temur Qutlugh.
The battle was a part of the Grand Dukes Vytautas expedition to put Khan Tokhtamysh as the leader of the Golden Horde. The Khan promised Vytautas that if the expedition is succesful he will surrender suzerainty over the Ruthenian lands.
Vytautas and Tokhtamysh lost the fateful battle at Vorksla, but what if they had won?
How would such an event change Eastern Europe?

Unfortunately I know little of this subject but having read the obligatory Wikipedia entry I find this particular passage in history quite fascinating. It would be good if something with knowledge on this subject could reply to this thread?

It is said that the Battle of the Vorskla is the last point in history where Lithuania could have realistically managed to turn things around and dominate Russia, and I agree with that motion.

There are a few great TLs with this point of divergence in fai.org.ru. I believe one of them is called "Emperor Vytautas", and that's the best of the flock.
