WI Germany refuses the Armistice of 1918

That would only spur France's distrust and desire to hold Germany down.

In any case, France will hold as much of the industrial zones of Germany as possible.
In essence, Germany would perhaps lose more of its sovereignity than after Versailles IOTL, at least in the short run.

But then lack of sovereignity has some advantages as well ...

One question is though, are the British and Americans wiling to lose more men to fulfill the French desire for revenge?

Apparently the President of Germany was so horrified by the final terms of the peace that he asked Hindenburg whether Germany could re-start the war, only to be told that the army was in no condition to fight on.

The arm of 1918 crippled the German army a lot. I'm not sure how effectively the army could resist pre arm but they did cause the allies some bad losses in the lead up to the surrender.

I have to agree witrh Markus, since there was no such thing as a choice for Germany, since the Treaty was a dictate more or less, formulated by the victors of the war, just as after WW2 with Japan. The Germans always considered it a dictate to begin with, for which they had no desire to comply, but were forced to, as a result of the lost war.
